Levering van medische apparatuur voor de sector persoonsbescherming

Het doel van deze oproep tot inschrijving is om lijfwachten (close protection officers, CPO's) te voorzien van adequate medische apparatuur voor training en het uitvoeren van hun werk tijdens bezoeken ter plaatse. Onze missies worden uitgevoerd in zeer geïsoleerde en veeleisende gebieden (d.w.z. in het kader van ontwikkelingshulp of humanitaire hulp en crisisbeheer), waar geen directe medische diensten aanwezig zijn. Het is van het grootste belang om over de juiste apparatuur te beschikken om taken en procedures voor eerste hulp te verlenen in veeleisende gebieden en, indien nodig, een patiënt in leven en stabiel te houden, totdat medische hulpverleners van een hoger niveau het overnemen.

The objective of this call for tender is to provide the close protection officers (CPO) with adequate medical equipment for training and the execution of the job during field visits. Our missions are executed in very isolated and demanding areas (i.e. within the context of development or humanitarian aid and crisis management), where there are no direct medical services. It is of the utmost importance to have the correct suitable equipment to carry out duties and first aid procedures in demanding areas and, if necessary, to keep a patient alive and stable until higher level medical responders take over.
